Statt dessen f\u00fchrt er betr\u00fcbt die\u00a0Tristesse vor, weil auch er\u00a0das wesentliche nicht zeigen kann. style=\"font-size:22px\"><strong>SYNOPSIS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Film erz\u00e4hlt die Lebensgeschichte der Schlagers\u00e4ngerin Renate Kern, die mit 19 Jahren entdeckt wurde und als neuer Stern im Schlagerhimmel erschien. Lange Zeit hielt sie sich im Mittelfeld. Mitte der 70er wird es still um Renate Kern, sie zieht sich zur\u00fcck, sucht lange nach einer neuen Identit\u00e4t und wird heimlich die blonde Nancy Wood. Von nun an singt sie nur noch Country.<br><br>Aber das Gl\u00fcck f\u00fcr sich selbst findet sie immer noch nicht, im Gegenteil: Sie zerbricht an sich selbst, an den Gesetzen ihres Berufs. 1991 erh\u00e4ngt sie sich.<br><br>Renate Kerns Suche nach Identit\u00e4t und ihr Scheitern wird durch den heutigen Blickwinkel zu einer Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Land. Die Phantasien, Tr\u00e4ume, W\u00fcnsche, Beobachtungen oder auch nur die Vermutungen der Menschen \u00fcber das Leben der Renate Kern werden zu Reflektionen \u00fcber ihr eigenes Leben und charakterisieren unweigerlich das Land, in dem wir leben.<br><br>Renate Kerns Schlagertexte sind Ausdruck und Sinnbild zugleich f\u00fcr ihre Zeit, ihre Umgebung und ihre Mitmenschen. Es geht um Tr\u00e4ume und \u00c4ngste, W\u00fcnsche und Hoffnungen, ums Tr\u00f6sten und Durchhalten.<br><br>Der Film ist nicht zuletzt eine Zustandsbeschreibung von heute, von diesem Land, das vereinigt und immer noch auf der Suche ist. Renate Kern als Inkarnation dieses Landes ist daran gescheitert. Heute spenden andere Trost und propagieren Durchhalten, denn die Suche ist m\u00fchsam.<br><br>Der Film entdeckt den Kosmos einer Musik, die Durchhalten propagiert und Tr\u00e4ume erlaubt, ihre Erf\u00fcllung aber ins ewige Morgen verlegt.
