\u201eWEGE\u201c is a work commissioned by the Ruhrtriennale. Concept: Aljoscha Begrich in collaboration with Peng! Kollektiv, Lagartijas Tiradas al Sol, Azadeh Ganjeh, Lisandro Rodriguez,<\/em><\/em> Anna Kpok, RUHRORTER, Stefan Schneider, tehran:public and loekenfranke.<\/em><\/em>

In 2021 productions will be created along the routes in between Ruhrtriennale performance sites for the first time. The cycle route between Gelsenkirchen Hauptbahnhof and PACT Zollverein is called \u201cNaturb\u00fcro 1-7\u201d \u2013 it leads through a range of different green belt sites, parks and open spaces. What is the understanding of nature that lies behind them and how do they programme us to treat nature? At seven points along the route loekenfranke have created so-called \u203aNature Offices\u2039, where highly contrasting views of nature can be presented \u2013 or better: listened to. Because what they are most interested in is how we treat birds. From prize-winning carrier pigeons to life-saving canaries to wild kites, they present birds as indicators of the state of the society in which we live.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
